françois hardonne François Hardonne is mostly known for founding the Situationist Agitation movement back in 1985 at the tender age of 9, soon after he graduated from high school. Apart from a brief stint at Sarah Lawrence --from which he was promptly excused after someone outed him as the mastermind behind the bi-weekly “invitation only” orgies held in the library stacks-- little else is known of the elusive Hardonne. Don’t be fooled, behind his façade of Crazy Genius, François is a very sane person who enjoys the simple pleasures in life: lovemaking, shoplifting, skinny dipping, breaking young girls’ hearts (among other things), licking vanilla ice cream, and of course playing music. Nous Non Plus picked him up while visiting his native Boston earlier this year, as he was panhandling with his faithful trumpet, playing airs of Jacques Courcil. He had us at F. When we asked him what instruments he could NOT play, he thought for a minute and then replied: cello. And much like a pot of glue, he has been with us ever since. The trumpet takes care of his oral fixation and the keyboards keep his hands busy. Any people interested in the Situationist Agitation movement (or orgies) should feel free to contact him. How did François Hardonne get his name, well, euh, ow doo yoo seh een eengleesh? The obvious way? Let us just say that he leaves nothing to the imagination, what you see is what you get. And that’s how he made it into the band: he is simply TOO HARD to miss.
