Morris "Mars" Chevrolet, the keyboard player, was deeply involved in the Parisian "troisieme vague" free jazz scene and played percussion for many years with the world reknown Art Ensemble of Metro Stalingrad ("Great French Music"). Eventually so much time spelunking in the Quartier Latin's caves of jazz and scientific exploration of interstellar space led to a complete nervous breakdown. Six months later when he emerged from the Sanitarium Ferdinand he wished only to play french pop music and asked that he be called either P. Diddy or Mars, rather than Morris. It was than that he joined Nous Non Plus who stood alone atop the blasted-heath of Parisian french pop musique. Morris' wherabouts at this time are unconfirmed, but we hear he is living comfortably somewhere near the arrondissement d'amour
